👍
The room was super clean, and it had a nice view of the castle. Plus, being only 20 km from the airport was really convenient.

The Hotel is "modern". The location is just across the Vistula River, and opposite the Wawel castle. It is a short walk from a busy bus-tram stop, so easy to get to. We had a "river view room" and it is a view! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. The staff was super, very helpful. They arranged for a 6 am airport taxi, and that went off with no trouble. Breakfast was great. The Poleski operates a restaurant serving dinner. It is clear they are trying hard to get revenue from meals. Looks to be a tough business. We did not eat there, taking the bus to the centrum for dinner. Good value for money overall. Very nice staff. We did not need to stumble with Polish. English works just fine.
The surrounding area is bit rough. One needs to walk down a street to get to the hotel, 100 m or so from a very busy highway. There was no apparent danger, but there were places, dark places, that made me wonder. During the day, all those concerns disappear. In fact, you takes a path from the hotel to the huge, very green river valley, great for walking, biking and enjoying the Poland outdoors, even in the middle of Krakow.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, by the river and in front of the Castle. It is close to the city center. The breakfast was delicious. I had dinner some nights at the restaurant of the hotel and the food was very good. The manager and the other staff members had been very kind.

Fantastic central location near the bustling market square, with proximity to a museum showcasing life during the communist era and a great restaurant, offering top-quality tea and coffee at the rooftop bar.

Hotel staff were brilliant and very helpful (as were most people serving you in Krakow, except grumpy old taxi drivers). We arrived before check- in time and departed well after check-out time, hotel looked after our luggage. Continental breakfast was more than adequate in a nice dining room overlooking the river and castle. Our group had 3 bedrooms overlooking the castle and river and were very clean and tidy. Hot water was excellent for a shower. Beds were continental so for a double it is twins pushed together. Half an hour walk by the river and across the bridge to the city centre (old town) or 6-8 dollar taxi. Excellent value and location for one of these European city breaks - well recommended. Thank you Hotel Poleski
There was nothing to complain about - just remember it is a continental hotel.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Poleski for 3 nights in August. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooftop bar with its stunning view of the river and castle was relaxing. The location was perfect, just a 25-minute walk to the main market square, offering interesting views as we strolled around the castle. The comfortable beds and complimentary water were nice touches, and the food at night was delicious. Free parking and easy access to the old city were additional perks.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

View on the river and the castle was great. Rooftop bar and resturant on first floor also has view. Staff were generally helpful if somewhat reserved at times
Beds were not comfortable chiefly because of coarse linen and a mini mattress on top of main mattress that was not the same size. Also there was a faint strange smell in the room. Staff were generally helpful if somewhat reserved at times. Had to pay a city vistiors tax at the check-out and they asked for cash. Although it was a minimal sum, this should have been explained at check-in and there should have been the option to pay by card on your main bill. This tax will not well explained and caused us some irritation.
